Seaman Corporation
When the Seaman Corporation told us that they were throwing a customer party centered around a mock debate between Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin, we were skeptical about the fun factor. But we dug in our heels and came up with an enticing "Rockin' the Revolution" theme to get invitees interested.
We started with a save-the-date mailer that included historical paintings manipulated to include Seaman Corporation customer heads on the famous historical figures. We also included a magnifying glass "to take a closer look".
We followed up with a booklet full of offbeat historical facts (Andrew Jackson once ate a 1,400 pound wheel of cheese) and instructions for making your own tri-corner hat, effectively setting a festive tone.
The theme carried through to a website and to party favors and decorations for the venue.
